April 24, 2017. 8 months ago. The date of my last blog.
But don’t worry – I’m baaaack!
I had no intention of letting NobesNotes develop cobwebs, life just happened to get in the way this year!
In my previous role at the Huntington Society of Canada as the Events Assistant, our busy event and travelling season was from May to June. I can only assume I started working too much and that’s why the blog fell to the side. What a shame though, because those trips would have been some great posts!
Since I last wrote, my life has changed in some big ways. 2017 was an eventful year, that’s for sure!
In September, I applied for a job in a different department at work and got it! The new job was a promotion to my field of interest and came with some awesome perks including a raise.
In October, after almost seven years of putting up with each other Jacob proposed and I said yes!
In November, my family sold our childhood house and will be starting their own business in Temagami, Ontario.
Don’t worry – I’ll do a whole looking back at 2017 blog next week.
But 2018 will be even more exciting! By this time next year, I will be a married woman. And with that comes some serious blog renovations (hello new name!).
With it being New Years Eve today, I have decided that my resolution for 2018 will be to keep up with writing on the blog more often. It definitely won’t be hard – there will be lots of wedding planning and DIYs to come your way!
So please stay tuned for more of my thoughts, feelings and opinions on all things current.
Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me during these dry 8 months in hopes of a comeback. Good things come to those who wait!
Until next time,
